Concordia Advances to the NAIA Women's Volleyball Quarterfinals
(Sioux City, Iowa) - [BOX SCORE] In a pool play match-up at the 2024 NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship, the Concordia (Neb.) Bulldogs defeated the Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) Cougars in straight sets (25-18, 25-15, 25-21).
(Sioux City, Iowa) - [BOX SCORE] In a pool play match-up at the 2024 NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship, the Concordia (Neb.) Bulldogs defeated the Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) Cougars in straight sets (25-18, 25-15, 25-21).
Concordia displayed their strength on the court with an impressive attacking performance, hitting a .216 as a team compared to Mount Vernon Nazarene's .089.
The Bulldogs were led by Ashley Keck with 12 kills and Gabi Nordaker with nine kills. Lily Psencik also played a key role with 22 assists.
Lyssi Snouffer and Faith Maloney led MVNU with 13 and eight kills, respectively. Reagan Nuss posted a double-double with 28 assists and 13 digs.
The victory advanced Concordia out of pool play. This is will be the Bulldog's third quarterfinal appearance in championship history. They will play the winner of Pool E at 2 p.m. CT Saturday.
