Northwestern Wins 2024 GPAC Women’s Volleyball Tournament

(Sioux City, Iowa) The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Volleyball Tournament concluded on Saturday night with the Championship Match in Orange City, Iowa, at the Bultman Center on the campus of Northwestern College.

In a pairing of not only the one and two seeds in the conference, but also #1 and #2 in the NAIA, the match lived up to expectations going the limit and five sets.

Concordia won sets one and three, with Northwestern claiming sets two and four.  In the fifth and deciding set Northwestern won by the final of 15-11 to claim the title.

Both teams will receive an automatic berth to the NAIA National Women's Volleyball Championship from the GPAC. 

The 2024 NAIA Volleyball National Championship includes a field of 48 teams. All 48 teams will play in opening round matches played on campus sites nationwide on November 23 . The opening round winners will play at the final site for a 24-team pool play NAIA National Championship December 4-10 , 2024, in Sioux City at the Tyson Events Center.
