2024 GPAC Women’s Volleyball Tournament Quarterfinals Complete

(Sioux City, Iowa) The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Volleyball Tournament opened on Saturday, November 9, at the top four seeds with Quarterfinal Round matches.

Top seed Northwestern defeated eight seed College of Saint Marty 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-20), while five seed Hastings defeated four seed Morningside 3-1 (25-17, 28-26, 22-25, 25-13).  On the other side of the bracket two seed Concordia was a 3-0 winner over seven seed Dakota Wesleyan (25-23, 25-13, 25-19), with three seed Midland defeating six seed Dordt 3-0 (25-12, 25-17, 25-9).

Wednesday night's semifinals will be in Orange City, Iowa, and Seward, Nebraska.  Top seed Northwestern will host five seed Hastings and two seed Concordia will host three seed Midland.  Both matches will start at 7pm.

Northwestern will receive the GPAC regular season automatic berth to the NAIA National Women's Volleyball Championship as the number one seed. The GPAC Volleyball Tournament winner (runner-up if Northwestern wins) also receives an automatic berth to the NAIA National Volleyball Championship. 

The 2024 NAIA Volleyball National Championship includes a field of 48 teams. All 48 teams will play in opening round matches played on campus sites nationwide on November 23 . The opening round winners will play at the final site for a 24-team pool play NAIA National Championship December 4-10 , 2024, in Sioux City at the Tyson Events Center.
