Week 4: GPAC Volleyball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Volleyball Players-of-the-Week
Attacker – Jazlin Douma, Northwestern College (Outside)
Jazlin Douma of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Douma, a senior, from Orange City, Iowa, led the Raiders in kills in a 2-0 week for the nation's top-ranked team. She collected 33 kills in two matches for a 5.50 kills/set average and a .333 hitting percentage. Douma also recorded two double-doubles as she had 21 digs on the week. In addition, she collected six blocks and a service ace.
Setter- Tevan Erickson, Mount Marty University
Tevan Erickson of Mount Marty University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Erickson, a freshman from Elkton, South Dakota, registered 72 assists in a pair of matches for the Lancers averaging over 10.2 assists/set. She had 44 assists in a four-set win over Doane. Additionally, she had 26 digs, four kills and two blocks on the week.
Defender – Gabi Nordaker, Concordia University (Middle)
Concordia University middle Gabi Nordaker is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Defender-of-the-Week. Nordaker, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, tallied 13 blocks on the week as No. 3 Concordia earned four-set home wins over College of Saint Mary and No. 20 Midland. With nine blocks in the victory over CSM, Nordaker eclipsed 500 for her career. She is one of three players in the program's history with at least 1,000 kills and 500 blocks. Nordaker also added 11 kills for the week.
