Week 2: GPAC Volleyball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Volleyball Players-of-the-Week
Attacker – Alysen Dexter, Northwestern College (Outside)
Northwestern's Alysen Dexter is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Dexter, a senior, from Urbandale, Iowa, led the Red Raiders to a 3-0 record over the weekend at the CSM Labor Day Classic in Omaha, Nebraska. She totaled 57 kills for 4.75 kills/set, while also tallying nine service aces, with five alone in a win sweep over Providence.
Setter- Tevan Erickson, Mount Marty University
Tevan Erickson of Mount Marty University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Erickson, a freshman from Elkton, South Dakota, was at the helm of a perfect week for the Lancers. She piled up 122 assists in three matches, averaging 11.09 assists per set. She also chipped in with 34 digs, nine kills and six total blocks.
Defender – Avery Beller, Briar Cliff University (Defensive Specialist)
Briar Cliff University defensive specialist Avery Bellar is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Defender-of-the-Week. Beller, a junior from Sioux City, Iowa, had a very strong performance as the Chargers went 2-2 at the Siouxland Volleyball Invitational. She averaged 7.20 digs per set and pushed her double-digit dig streak to 11 matches. Beller had 44 digs against Valley City State, the first 40+ dig performance by a Charger in 10 years and sixth best in school history.
