Week 4: Women's Outdoor Track & Field Honors
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's outdoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held April 10-16, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Field Events – Macy Fuller, Doane University
Macy Fuller from Doane University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Fuller, a junior, from Kearney, Nebraska, launched a school record throw in the hammer of 54.03m (177-03) at the Kansas Relays. The throw is the second-best in the NAIA this season. Her mark surpassed the school record she set earlier this year. Fuller was the top NAIA finisher in the meet. She followed up her performance with another "A" standard throw at the Concordia Invite with a mark of 52.84m (173-04).
Track Events – Lauren Dawson, Concordia University
Lauren Dawson of Concordia University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Dawson, a junior, from Cedar Falls, Nebraska, broke her own school record in the 5,000-meter racewalk, finishing in 28:34.84 at the Concordia Invite. Her time represents a 'B' standard and currently places her first in the GPAC and ninth in the NAIA.
