Week 1: Women's Outdoor Track & Field Honors
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's outdoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held March 20-26, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Field Events – Macy Fuller, Doane University
Macy Fuller from Doane University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Fuller, a junior, from Kearney, Nebraska, broke the school record in the hammer throw with a mark of 175-03 (53.43m). The previous record was set in 2012. Her mark ranks second in the NAIA this season and was a personal best throw by two feet.
Track Events – Rylee Haecker, Concordia University
Rylee Haecker of Concordia University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Haecker, a junior, from Davenport, Nebraska, turned in first-place times in the 1,500 meters and as part of the 4x800 meter relay at the Grand View Viking Relays. On the performance lists, Haecker ranks first in the GPAC and 14th nationally in the 1,500 meters (4:47.50). The 4x800 ranks first in the GPAC and seventh in the NAIA in a time of 10:02.47.
