Week 7: Women's Indoor Track & Field Honors
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women's indoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held February 6-12, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Field Events – Josie Puelz, Concordia University
Josie Puelz from Concordia University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Puelz, a junior, from Lincoln, Nebraska, placed second (behind an unattached competitor) at the Concordia Invite while clearing 12'10.25" in the pole vault, just off a season best. Puelz continues to lead the GPAC in the event. She ranks No. 3 nationally.
Track Events – Adrianna Rodencal, Concordia University
Adrianna Rodencal of Concordia University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Rodencal, a freshman, from Lincoln, Nebraska, ran first place times of 8.76 in the 60 hurdles (finals) and 25.77 in the 200 meters at the Concordia Invite. Her 60 hurdles time broke her own school record and ranks No. 1 in the GPAC (No. 12 in the NAIA). Rodencal's time in the 200 meters ranks No. 2 in the GPAC.
