2023 GPAC Women's Tennis Tournament Bracket Announced
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Midland women will be the number one seed when the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Tennis Tournament begins on Friday, April 28. The GPAC Women's Tennis Tournament will be played on Friday indoors in Omaha at the Genesis Health Club. Saturday's Championship will be played indoors at the YMCA in Fremont, Nebraska.
The Warriors were champions of the regular season with a record of 7-0. Morningside will be the two seed after a 6-1 regular season. Doane will be the three seed (5-2), with Concordia the fourth seed (4-3). Northwestern (3-4) and College of Saint Mary (2-5) will be the five and six seeds. The top six teams from the regular season standings qualify for the postseason tournament. The number one and two seeds will have first round byes.
The champion of the postseason tournament will advance to the NAIA Women's National Tennis Championship in Mobile, Alabama, at the Mobile Tennis Center on May 16-20, 2023.
