2021 GPAC Women's Tennis Tournament Pairings Announced
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Doane women will be the number one seed when the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women's Tennis Tournament begins on Friday, April 30, in Fremont, Nebraska. The GPAC Tennis Tournament will be played at the Fremont High School Courts and will be hosted by Midland University.
The Tiger women were tri-champions of the regular season with a record of 6-1 (with Morningside and Concordia) and earned the top seed by way GPAC tiebreaker rules. The top six teams from the regular season standings qualify for the postseason tournament. The number one and two seeds will have first round byes.
GPAC tie-breakers determined the seeds for the conference tournament.
The champion of the postseason tournament will advance to the NAIA Women's National Tennis Championship in Mobile, Alabama, at the Mobile Tennis Center on May 18-22, 2021.
