Women's Offense – Kierstynn Garner, Concordia University (Forward)
Kierstynn Garner of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Garner, a junior from Kearney, Nebraska, produced the lone goal in Concordia's 1-0 GPAC semifinal win over Dordt. The goal marked Garner's 21st of the season and 48th of her career. She ranks second among GPAC players for goals, assists (12) and points (54).
Women's Defense – Taylor Slaymaker, Concordia University (Defender)
Taylor Slaymaker of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Slaymaker, a senior from Kearney, Nebraska, played a critical role in Concordia's 1-0 shutout of Dordt in the GPAC semifinals. Slaymaker played all 90 minutes at center back and helped keep GPAC leading goal scorer Karinna Tel and a dangerous Defender attack off the board. Dordt was limited to seven shots (three on goal) as Concordia advanced to the GPAC tournament final for the seventh time in program history.
