Week 11: GPAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week
Women's Offense – Karinna Tel, Dordt University (Forward)
Karinna Tel of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Tel, a junior from Puyallup, Washington, scored four goals in the Defenders 6-5 win against Northwestern in the final match of the regular season that secured a No.3 seed in the conference tournament. Tel followed with a hat-trick against Doane, scoring all three of Dordt's goals in the quarterfinal win. Tel leads the GPAC in goals (34) and points (76) and earlier this season became Dordt's career goals, assists and points leader. She has five matches with three-plus goals scored this season.
Women's Defense – Angela Banks, Concordia University (Keeper)
Angela Banks of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Banks, a senior from Downey, California, yielded more than 160 minutes of shutout action as part of Concordia wins over Midland and the College of Saint Mary. Banks made a total of seven saves and picked up her fifth shutout of the 2024 season. The Bulldogs have advanced to the GPAC semifinals and are on a nine-game winning streak.
