Women's Offense – Savannah Franzoy, Doane University (Midfield)
Savannah Franzoy of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Franzoy, a junior from Pueblo West, Colorado, struck for a hat trick in the Tigers 5-0 win over McPherson. She converted three of her five opportunities on goal to record her first multi-goal game.
Women's Defense – Jenna Wright, Dordt University (Goalkeeper)
Jenna Wright of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Wright, a senior from Olathe, Kansas, made a career-high 21 saves in leading the Defenders to 1-0 win over #25 Benedictine. She stopped 15 shots in the first half, made 10 more saves in the second frame, en route to her second shutout of the season and eighth in her career. Wright has recorded double-digit saves in four career matches.
