Week 3: GPAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Women’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 4-10, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – Naomi Pedroza, Hastings College (Forward)
Naomi Pedroza of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Pedroza, a senior, from Hastings, Nebraska, scored two goals in the 6-2 win over Kansas Wesleyan and then netted the game winner against Tabor to help the Broncos to a 2-0 week. Hastings has started the non-conference undefeated for the first time since 2018.
Women's Defense – Hannah Tillison, Midland University (Goalkeeper)
Hannah Tillison of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Tillison, a senior from Blanchard, Oklahoma, helped the Warriors to a 1-0-1 record this week on the road. On Monday, she picked up 6 saves as Midland earned a draw with Vanguard out in California. On Saturday, she collected 8 saves as the Warriors upset No. 18 MidAmerica Nazarene on its home pitch. The clean sheet victory was her third of the season.
