Week 2: GPAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Women’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played August 28- Sept. 3, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – Julie Dunlap, Northwestern College (Midfield)
Julie Dunlap of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Dunlap, a senior, from Des Moines, Iowa, put up three goals in the two matches at the 2023 Pizza Ranch Classic as the Red Raiders posted two shutout wins - the first wins of the Kelli Herman era. She scored the game-winning goal in the 83rd minute in the 1-0 decision on Friday against Central Baptist and on Saturday, she scored two of the three goals in the 3-0 win over Friends. With the goal on Friday, she now sits second in program history in goals scored.
Women's Defense – Jaime Rowlands, Briar Cliff University (Goalkeeper)
Jaime Rowlands of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Rowlands, a junior from Fareham, England, kept a pair of clean sheets in the Chargers opening set of games. Rowlands made seven saves in a 0-0 tie against Grand View, and turned away five Statesmen shots in a 3-0 victory Sunday afternoon over William Penn.
