Week 11: Women's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 31-November 6, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – Cassandra Diaz, University of Jamestown (Forward)
Cassandra Diaz of the University of Jamestown is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Diaz, a senior from Montebello, California, had a pair of goals, including the game-winner, to send Jamestown to the GPAC postseason championship match as the Jimmies held off Midland 4-3.
Women's Defense – Sofie Jackson-Pedersen, Hastings College (Keeper)
Sofie Jackson-Pedersen of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Jackson-Pedersen, did all she could in order to help Hastings advance to the GPAC Championship. She recorded eight saves in the 2-1 upset victory over Briar Cliff in overtime. She finished the week with 12 saves including a clean sheet against Morningside.
