Week 7: Women's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 3-9, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – Taylor Alkire, Briar Cliff University (Forward)
Taylor Alkire of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Alkire, a senior, from Porterville, California, recorded a six-point week in leading the Chargers to wins over the College of Saint Mary and Presentation. She scored a pair of goals in a win against the Flames. Alkire added another goal in a 5-0 shutout of Presentation.
Women's Defense – Hannah Tillison, Midland University (Goalkeeper)
Hannah Tillison of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Tillison, a junior from Blanchard, Oklahoma, picked up a pair of wins in net this week as the Warriors propelled to third place in the conference standings. She had 6 saves in the 2-1 win over Hastings and then added 4 more in the 1-0 win at Northwestern on Saturday. The lone goal allowed came via a penalty kick by the Broncos.
