Week 4: Women's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Women's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 12-18, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Offense – Mady Soumare, Briar Cliff University (Forward)
Mady Soumare of Briar Cliff University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Soumare, a junior, from Paris, France, scored four goals and had a pair of assists in the Chargers two wins on the week. In a 5-1 victory over Dordt she netted a hat trick. Against Northwestern she had a pair of assists and a goal. In total, she had 10 points on the week.
Women's Defense – Tea Pence, University of Jamestown (Goalkeeper)
Tea Pence of University of Jamestown is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Pence, freshman from Hamilton, Ohio, allowed only one goal in two appearances for Jamestown last week. She saved three of four shots in a 2-1 win over Midland, then stopped all five shots she faced in a win over Morningside, sharing a clean sheet with fellow keeper Anna Cole.
