Week 10: GPAC Golfers of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for March 27-April 2, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week

Women – No Nominees

Men – Achilleas Lazaridis, Doane University
Achilleas Lazaridis of Doane University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Lazaridis, a freshman from Limassol, Cyprus, took the individual championship at the Bethel Invitational, carding a two day total of 143 for even par. He shot a 69 in the opening round played at Hesston Golf Park. His played helped the Tigers to the program's second-best round in school history on Saturday and followed with the low round of the day again on Sunday to win the event.
