Week 1: Golfers of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following golfers-of-the-week for September 5-11, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Golfers-of-the-Week

Women – Kelsey Heath, Mount Marty University
Kelsey Heath of Mount Marty University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Golfer-of-the-Week. Heath, a sophomore from Sisseton, South Dakota, took first place overall at the Siouxland Invite last week. She shot a two-round total of 154 with individual rounds of 75 and 79.

Men – Ezra Meyer, Northwestern College
Ezra Meyer of Northwestern College is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Golfer-of-the-Week. Meyer, a senior from Spencer, Iowa, played as an individual in the event and finished in a tie for third overall with his teammate Qwenton Caldwell. Two of his three rounds were under 70 as he carded a score of 209 (67-73-69).
