Offensive – Macy Bryant, Hastings College (Forward)
Macy Bryant of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Bryant, a junior from Fremont, Nebraska, was a perfect 8-for-8 while putting up 22 points against Mount Marty. She was 3-of-3 from behind the arc and grabbed six rebounds. In the Broncos 91-83 upset win over undefeated and NAIA top-ranked Dordt, she scored 10 points and grabbed five boards. For the week, she averaged 16 points on 78 percent shooting from the field (71 percent from three), 5.5 rebounds and 2 steals.
Defensive – Mariyah Avila, Hastings College (Guard)
Mariyah Avila of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Avila, a junior from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, recorded eight steals during the week, including six of the Broncos 26 turnovers forced in a 91-83 upset win over undefeated and top-ranked Dordt. She also averaged 17 points on 52 percent shooting, going 42 percent from long range.
