Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Macy Sievers, Dordt University (Guard)
Macy Sievers of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Sievers, a junior from Storm Lake, Iowa, just missed averaging a double-double in points and assists in a pair of wins with 13 points per game and 9.5 assists. She also averaged four steals per game and nearly had a triple-double in Dordt's win over No.5 Briar Cliff with 11 points, 10 assists and seven steals. She converted 58.8 percent of her field goals and 50 percent of her three-point tries.
Defensive – Rachel Goodon, Hastings College (Center)
Rachel Goodon of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Goodon, a sophomore from Hastings, Nebraska, had eight rebounds, three blocks, and one steal in a 55-point win at Waldorf. She also contributed 13 points on 83 percent shooting in just 21 minutes of action.
