Week 12: GPAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Janie Van Donge, Dordt University (Forward)
Janie Van Donge of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Van Donge, a senior from Hospers, Iowa, scorched the nets for the Defenders shooting 73.7 percent from the field. She averaged 15.5 points per game in a pair of conference wins, including 19 points against Northwestern. She also grabbed 20 rebounds on the week, to average a double-double.
Defensive – Avery Broughton, Dakota Wesleyan University (Guard)
Avery Broughton of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Broughton, a freshman from Corsica, South Dakota, recorded 14 rebounds (12 defensive) six blocks and a pair of steals in two wins for the Tigers on the week. In addition, she added 11 points per game and dished out four assists.
