Week 5: GPAC Women's Basketball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Ann Bose, Hastings College (Guard)
Ann Bose of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Bose, a freshman from Orleans, Nebraska, led the Broncos in scoring in both of their wins. Playing 25 minutes in each, she scored 23 points by shooting 54 percent from the field and 50 percent from three at Mount Marty. She improved upon that by knocking down 7-of-11 three-point attempts in a win against Bethany. For the week, she averaged 22 points on 56 percent shooting and 58 percent from three, made all five free throws, while averaging 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals.
Defensive – Alexis Spier, Morningside University (Guard)
Alexis Spier of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Spier, a senior from Gretna, Nebraska, tallied nine defensive rebounds, nine steals, and one blocked shot in this week's pair of contests. She also added 42 points over the two contests.
