Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Basketball Players-of-the-Week
Offensive – Janie Van Donge, Dordt University (Forward)
Janie Van Donge of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Van Donge, a senior from Hospers, Iowa, had 24 points and 16 points in a pair of wins, including a ranked matchup with Concordia. She averaged a double-double on the week with 20.0 points and 14.5 rebounds. She also added four steals and three assists on the week.
Defensive – Abby Krieser, Concordia University (Guard)
Abby Krieser of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men's basketball defensive player-of-the-week. Krieser, a senior from Lincoln, Nebraska, starred on the defensive end in Concordia's outings versus College of Saint Mary and No. 1 Dordt. Krieser swiped three steals in both contests and was matched up with Dordt's Macy Sievers (5-for-15 from the floor) for a large portion of the overtime loss on the road. Concordia's opponents turned the ball over a combined 43 times last week.
