Week 8: GPAC Softball Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played March 24-30, 2025. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors

Pitcher – Kate Kralik, Northwestern College

Kate Kralik of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Kralik, a senior from Indianola, Iowa, went 2-0 in three appearances in the circle this week. She pitched two complete games, allowing only one run. On the week, Kralik struck out 15 batters, including nine in her complete-game shutout at the College of Saint Mary on Saturday.

Player – Reese Floro, Midland University (Infield)

Reese Floro of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week.  Floro, a senior from Plattsmouth, Nebraska, had a big week at the plate with seven hits in eight official at-bats. She scored six runs and drove in five more to go with her .875 average, 1.800 slugging percentage and 11 total bases.
