Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors
Pitcher – Megan Eurich, Concordia University
Megan Eurich of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Eurich, a senior from Gretna, Nebraska, helped Concordia to two wins on its opening day at the Tucson Invite. Eurich tossed a seven-inning complete game with eight strikeouts in the first game and then earned the save with a 1-2-3, three-strikeout inning in the second contest. She worked a total of eight innings with 11 strikeouts.
Player – Morgan Secora, Morningside University (Pitcher)
Morgan Secora of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week. Secora, a junior from Gretna, Nebraska, hit .455 over the Mustangs five games last week. She finished with a .500 on-base percentage, and a 1.364 slugging percentage, driving in seven runs. She had three home runs.
