Week 2: GPAC Softball Players of the Week

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors
Pitcher – Aliyah Rincon, Midland University
Aliyah Rincon of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Rincol, a senior from Granada Hills, California, was nearly perfect twice this week. She took a perfect game into the 7th inning against No. 17 Ottawa, giving up a single with two outs. The, against No. 11 Baker, an early single was the only blip on the Warriors ace. For the week, Rincon went 19.0 innings with 30 strikeouts while allowing just 3 hits and 2 walks. She currently leads the GPAC in wins (8) and strikeouts (74), and she ranks fourth in ERA (1.27).
Player – Autumn Porter, Mount Marty University (Outfield)
Autumn Porter of Mount Marty University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week. Porter, a junior from Miles City, Montana, hit .688 over four games, including three wins last week. She piled up 11 hits for the Lancers including two homeruns, two triples a double and eight RBI. In three of the four games she had three or more hits, including a 4-for-4 performance with a pair of homers in an 11-2 win over Houghton University.
