(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played February 27-March 5, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Softball Weekly Honors

Pitcher – Camry Moore, Doane University

Camry Moore of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports pitcher-of-the-week. Moore, a senior from Crete, Nebraska, threw two shutouts on the weekend to go 2-0. In 13.0 innings, she allowed only three hits while striking out 16 and walking one for the Tigers.

Player – Kylie Shottenkirk, Concordia University (Shortstop)

Kylie Shottenkirk of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week. Shottenkirk, a freshman from Lincoln, Nebraska, went 9-for-14 (.643) at the plate over four games at the Friends Invite. She totaled seven runs scored, two doubles, two homers, 11 RBIs and a stolen base. On the season, she is hitting .429 with a .686 slugging percentage. In the field, Shottenkirk fielded 11 of 12 total chances last week.
