Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Cross Country Runners-of-the Week
Women – Courtney Sporrer, Morningside University
Courtney Sporrer of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Sporrer, a junior from Logan, Iowa, was the top GPAC and NAIA finisher at the Augustana Twilight meet, where she ran a personal best under the lights at Yankton Trail Park. Her time of 17:55.6 was good for a top 25 finish.
Men – Trey Robertson, Concordia University
Trey Robertson of Concordia University is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week. Robertson, a sophomore from Wallace, Nebraska, finished as the highest placing GPAC/NAIA competitor at the 2024 Augustana Twilight in Sioux Falls, S.D. Robertson ran a four-mile time of 19:22.17 and placed 29th overall in a field of 375 runners. The meet included athletes from the NAIA and all divisions of the NCAA.
