Week 9: GPAC Wrestler of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following wrestler-of-the-week for contests played January 22-28, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Nate Lendt, Doane University – 149lb Weight Class

Doane University wrestler Nate Lendt is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Lendt, a senior from Des Moines, Iowa, went 3-0 with two pins under 35 seconds. The only points he allowed on the weekend were from escapes. He improved to 17-1 on the season and helped Doane clinch at least a share of the GPAC regular season title. Doane closes the conference dual slate on Saturday, February 3, at home against Concordia.
