Week 7: GPAC Wrestler of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following wrestler-of-the-week for contests played January 8-14, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Chris Aragon, Morningside University – 149lb Weight Class

Morningside University wrestler Chris Aragon is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Aragon, a freshman from Creston, Iowa, scored six points for Morningside, pinning his opponent in 1:11 as the Mustangs picked up a win. Morningside scored a decisive victory over Northwestern's Red Raiders, 40-11.
