Week 4: GPAC Wrestler of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following wrestler-of-the-week for contests played December 4-10, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Tyson Beauperthuy, Doane University – 197lb Weight Class

Doane University wrestler Tyson Beauperthuy is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Beauperthuy, a sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colorado, won his 14th match of the year as he wrestled up a weight class at 197 and defeated Connor Rinn of Midland in dual action. He handed Rinn his first loss in conference action this year with a 22-7 tech fall win.
