Field Events – Robert Atwater, Midland University
Robert Atwater from Midland University is this week's men's field athlete-of-the-week. Atwater, a senior from Detroit, Michigan, had a solid start to his outdoor season with a pair of wins and a pair of runner-up placings at the Bethel Open. He won the high jump (2.03m) and the long Jump (6.96m) while placing second in the pole vault (4.50m) and the triple jump (13.56m).
Track Events – Porter Bickley, Doane University
Porter Bickley of Doane University is this week's men's track athlete-of-the-week. Bickley, a freshman from Omaha, Nebraska, broke a 15-year-old school record in his first outdoor collegiate race on Friday night. His time of 14:56.53 was nearly two seconds than the previous Doane record.
