Week 4: Men's Outdoor Track & Field Honors
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's outdoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held April 10-16, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Field Events – Dylan Kucera, Midland University
Dylan Kucera from Midland University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Kucera, a senior from Fremont, Nebraska, had a pair of runner-up finishes over the weekend. On Friday, he took second in the hammer throw at the Concordia Outdoor Invite, reaching an NAIA 'A' mark of 60.32m. The following day, he placed second in the shot put at the Kansas Relays with a throw of 18.21m. He currently ranks first in the GPAC and NAIA in the shot put and ranks first in the GPAC and third in the NAIA in the hammer throw.
Track Events – Peyton Miller, Dordt University
Peyton Miller of Dordt University is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Miller, a senior, from Wellman, Iowa, hit the provisional mark and took first place in the 400m hurdles last weekend at the Sioux City Relays. Miller crossed the finish line with a time of 53.81, just .11 off the 'A' standard and less than a half second away from the school record. Miller has the top time in the GPAC, 11th in the NAIA.
