Week 3: GPAC Men's Indoor T&F Athletes of the Week

Field Events – Dylan Starr, Doane University
Dylan Starr from Doane University is this week's field athlete-of-the-week. Starr, a senior from Fairbury, Nebraska, moved into second in the NAIA on the season in the high jump with his mark of 2.09m (6-10.25) at the Scott Nisely Memorial Classic. His mark was the top mark in the high jump this week in the NAIA.
Track Events – Payton Mauldin, Dordt University
Dordt University's Payton Mauldin is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Mauldin, a senior, from George, Iowa, won two events last weekend at the Defenders home meet, the Dordt Indoor Open. Mauldin's first win came in the 400m where the senior ran the fastest time in the NAIA and hit the 'A' standard (46.45). Mauldin followed by running the anchor leg, a 46.5 split, in the Defenders winning 4x400 relay that hit the 'A' standard and ran the NAIA's fastest time to date.
