Track Events – Zach Turner, Doane University
Doane University's Zach Turner is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Turner, a senior, from Crete, Nebraska, tied his school record in the 60m hurdles, running a NAIA-best time of 7.90 seconds on Saturday at the University of Nebraska Graduate Classic. He finished second to Till Steinforth, a three-time All-American for Nebraska. Turner ran a time of 7.96 in the prelims as he posted a sub-8 second race for the first time this season.
