Women's Tennis – Olya Furmanova, Northwestern College
Olya Furmanova of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Furmanova, a sophomore from Minsk, Belarus, went 6-0 this week to help the Red Raiders to a 2-1 record. Her wins all came from the No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles spot in the lineup.
Men's Tennis – Skander Ben Abdallah, Morningside University
Skander Ben Abdallah of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Ben Abdallah, a senior from Tunis, Tunisia, was unbeaten this week in both singles and doubles play. Against Northwestern he needed a tiebreaker to take the No. 3 singles match, but a decisive 7-0 win gave him a 7-6 advantage and set the wheels in motion for a 6-0 win in set two.
