Week 5: GPAC Tennis Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following tennis players-of-the-week for April 3-9, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Tennis Weekly Honors

Women's Tennis – Graziela Dallagnol, Midland University
Graziela Dallagnol of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Dallagnol, a freshman from Cacador, Brazil, was unbeaten this week as Midland went 3-0 in dual action. She was 3-0 in singles play, rallying back on Thursday at Nebraska Wesleyan. In doubles action, she went 2-0 with two different partners at the No. 2 spot.

Men's Tennis – Jorge Chevez, Doane University
Jorge Chevez of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Chevez, a senior from Panama City, Panama, won both his singles and doubles matches against Concordia in Seward. He improved to 10-9 overall and 3-0 in GPAC play in singles action.
