Week 2: GPAC Tennis Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following tennis players-of-the-week for contests played March 21-27, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2021-22 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Women's Tennis – Ava Macke, Doane University
Ava Macke of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women's Tennis Player of the Week. Macke, a junior from Omaha, Nebraska, teamed with Liz van der Torre in No. 1 doubles play for a 6-0 win in a match with the College of Saint Mary. Macke, who recently broke the school record for wins in singles play, won a straight-set match at No. 2 singles.
Men's Tennis – Eduardo Luzzi, Concordia University
Eduardo Luzzi of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week. Luzzi, a freshman from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, led Concordia to a 4-3 team win over Morningside while emerging victorious at No. 1 singles and doubles spots. Luzzi teamed up with Juan Rabellino for a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles. The Bulldogs have won six of their last seven GPAC regular season matches dating back to last season.
