Hastings Claims 2024 GPAC Men’s Soccer Tournament Championship

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Championship Match of the 2024 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Men's Soccer Tournament was played Tuesday night in Seward, Nebraska, at Bulldog Stadium.

Five seed Hastings won a hard fought 1-0 contest over two seed Concordia to claim the league championship for the postseason.

Lewis Albert scored the lone goal of the game for the Broncos at the 25:11 mark of the first half.  The goal  held up as the Hastings defense posted a clean sheet to win the title.

Hastings will advance, as the league's automatic representative, to the NAIA National Men's Soccer National Championship Opening Round (on November 21-23).  GPAC men's soccer only receives one automatic bid with eleven teams.  NAIA pairings will be announced on Saturday by the NAIA National Office after the selection committee meets on Friday.

The NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Final Site is in Wichita, Kansas, December 2-9, 2024, at the Scheels Stryker Soccer Complex.
