Week 12: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played November 4-10, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week

Men's Offense – Lewis Albert, Hastings College (Midfield)

Lewis Albert of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Albert, a senior from Walfield, England, scored two goals during their two wins in the GPAC Tournament on the road. He scored both of his goals in the 2-0 win over Midland on just three shot attempts, scoring in the 60 and 68 minutes of the match to give Hastings the quarterfinal win at Midland.

Men's Defense – Pablo Arce-Salinas, Hastings College (Keeper)

Pablo Arce-Salinas of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Arce-Salinas, a senior from Victoria City, Mexico, recorded two clean sheets in the two GPAC wins on the road, including at top-seed Morningside. He saved eight shots total, while playing all 90 minutes in each.
