Week 11: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 28-November 3, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program. 

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week

Men's Offense – Martin Herrera, Concordia University (Forward)

Martin Herrera of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Herrera, a senior from Quito, Ecuador, Martin Herrera produced two goals as Concordia defeated Midland, 6-2, in the regular season finale. Herrera pushed his team high goal count to 10 for the season. The win vaulted the Bulldogs into second place in the final GPAC regular season standings.

Men's Defense – Timon Koerber, Morningside University (Keeper)

Timon Koerber of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Koerber, a junior from Gruenwald, Germany, collected a win in Wednesday's GPAC regular season title clinching match. He turned the Tigers of Dakota Wesleyan away to preserved a 2-1 win.
