Week 10: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 21-27, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Offense – Jordan Bickel, Morningside University (Forward)

Jordan Bickel of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Bickel, a junior from Maeder, Austria, recorded three goals in this week's contests. He scored what proved to be the game winner in a 1-0 victory over Jamestown. In a lopsided win over Waldorf he had a pair of goals and an assist.

Men's Defense – Hugo Sjoeberg, Midland University (Keeper)

Hugo Sjoeberg of Midland University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Sjoeberg, a sophomore from Kiel, Germany, picked up his seventh shutout of the season this week as Midland defeated Mount Marty 1-0 at home. Sjoeberg had three saves in the game, adding to his conference lead in saves which now sits at 84 to go along with a .778 save percentage.
