Week 4: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 9-15, 2024. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2024-2025 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Offense – Ameer Madden, Doane University (Forward)

Ameer Madden of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Madden, a senior from Toronto, Ontario, recorded a goal and an assist in Doane's 2-2 tie with Jamestown. He is now tied for the team lead in goals and leads the team in assists.

Men's Defense – Alessio Pirrello, Mount Marty University (Keeper)

Alessio Pirrello of Mount Marty University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Pirrello, a senior from Stuttgart, Germany, turned away Central Christian five times in the Lancers 2-1 win. He now has 14 saves on the season in five games.
