Week 7: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 2-8, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Offense – D'Andre Williams, Concordia University (Forward)
D'Andre Williams of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Williams, a junior, from Ontario, Canada, D'Andre Williams supplied both Concordia goals in the 2-1 win at Jamestown on Oct. 7. Williams recorded the game winner in the 83rd minute. Williams has tallied three goals and two assists on the season for unbeaten Concordia
Men's Defense – Mitchell Dryden, Dordt University (Keeper)
Mitchell Dryden of Dordt University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Dryden, a senior, from La Crescent, Minnesota, totaled 15 saves and allowed just one goal in a win against Mount Marty and a 1-1 tie at Morningside. Dryden made five saves and earned his third shutout of the season, seventh of his career, in the Defenders 2-0 win against Mount Marty. He followed with a season-high 10 saves in the tie against Morningside. This was the fourth career match that Dryden had double-digit saves.
