Week 6: GPAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 25-October 1, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2023-2024 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Offense – Stan van den Beld, Northwestern College (Forward)
Stan van den Beld of Northwestern College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Van den Beld, a junior, from Voorhout, Netherlands, scored two goals and had an assist in Northwestern's 2-0 week. The junior had a goal and an assist in the Raiders' 6-0 win at Mount Marty, and scored the match's only goal in a 1-0 win over Jamestown. He currently is in second place in the GPAC in total goals (8) and is tied for second in points (17).
Men's Defense – Timon Koerber, Morningside University (Keeper)
Timon Koerber of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Koerber, a sophomore, from Gruenwald, Germany, gave up just one goal in this week's pair of GPAC wins. In all he had seven saves for an overall save percentage of .875.
