2022 GPAC Men's Soccer Tournament Pairings Announced

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Men's Soccer Tournament will open on Thursday, November 3, 2022, with quarterfinal round action.

The top seed in the tournament is regular season champion Hastings (10-0-1 GPAC, 31 pts.), while Concordia is the two seed (8-1-2 GPAC, 26 pts.). The three seed is Dordt (6-1-4 GPAC, 22 pts.). The fourth seed for the tournament is Northwestern (6-2-3 GPAC, 21 pts.). The five seed goes to Midland (5-3-3 GPAC, 18 pts.), with the six seed to Morningside (3-2-6 GPAC, 15 pts.). The seventh seed is Briar Cliff (3-3-5 GPAC, 14 pts.) and the eighth seed is Mount Marty (3-6-2 GPAC, 11 pts.).

Three points were awarded for every conference win, one for each tie, and no points for a conference loss in the GPAC standings.

The semifinals will be played on Tuesday, November 8, with the finals on Friday, November 11.

The winner of the GPAC Tournament will advance, as the league's second automatic representative, to the NAIA National Men's Soccer National Championship Opening Round (on November 17-19). If the regular season champion (Hastings) wins the Tournament, Concordia (as two seed) will receive the second NAIA berth to the postseason.

The NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Final Site is in Decatur, Alabama, November 29 – December 5, 2022, at the Jack Allen Soccer Complex.
