Week 7: Men's Soccer Players of the Week
(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played October 3-9, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Men's Offense – Dominic Abdel-Ahad, Concordia University (Forward)
Dominic Abdel-Ahad of Concordia University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Abdel-Ahad, a senior from Duesseldorf, Germany, continued his goal scoring surge last week with one goal at Morningside and then two more in Concordia's 6-0 win over Jamestown. Over the past three games, Abdel-Ahad has totaled six goals and now ranks in a tie for second among GPAC players with nine goals this season.
Men's Defense – Jackson Brown, Hastings College (Defender)
Jackson Brown of Hastings College is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Brown, a senior from Uttoxeter, England, did a little bit of everything this past week helping the defense record two shutouts while also helping out on the offensive end. He scored his first goal of the season in the win over Mount Marty and also picked up an assist on the first goal of the game against the Lancers.
