Week 4: Men's Soccer Players of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played September 12-18, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men's Soccer Players-of-the-Week

Men's Offense – Gero Zarbo, Morningside University (Forward)

Gero Zarbo of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Zarbo, a junior, from Berlin, Germany, had the game winning goal in Thursday's match at Presentation. He also collected an insurance goal for the Mustangs in the weekend's victory over Jamestown.

Men's Defense – Bjarne Huth, Morningside University (Keeper)

Bjarne Huth of Morningside University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Huth, a senior from Bad Vilbel, Germany, had a pair of complete game shutouts this week on the week. In all he collected seven saves, four in a 2-0 win over Jamestown.
